On March 8 and 9, 2023, an engaging Third Global Foresight4Food Workshop was conducted by the Foresight4Food Initiative in Montpellier. The theme of the workshop revolved around Using Foresight and Scenarios to Support Food Systems Transformation.
Participants from diverse backgrounds joined from all over the world to discuss how foresight can contribute to national level food systems transformation pathways. Through interactive exchanges, presentations of valuable projects, and sharing experiences of ground-breaking applications of foresight thinking linked to food systems, there was an energetic sharing of insights among the participants.
The ongoing strikes in France posed a great challenge for the management and participants of the Foresight4Food Global Workshop, however, the strength of resolve made it possible for everyone to push through the obstacles and sit together in Montpellier to discuss the future of food.
